Who is responsible

Play without signing up

You need neither an e-mail address nor a phone number to play. You enter a name for the game and pick a character — other players in your session see them.

To recognise your phone within a session (so you can rejoin after a reload), your browser stores a random device token. It is not linked to your identity. A main screen (TV) stores its own token that only gives access to the shared view of its session.

Account (optional)

If you sign in, we store the e-mail address we send one-time sign-in codes to, as well as your name, character, points, trophies and status.

We do not store passwords. You can have your account deleted by writing to the controller.

Cookies and browser storage

Necessary: hohma_refresh and hohma_csrf — signing in and protection against forged requests; the device token for games; your cookie banner choice (hohma.consent). The site does not work without them, so no consent is required.

Analytics (Yandex Metrica) is only loaded after you consent in the banner. You can withdraw consent at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.

Analytics

With your consent, Yandex Metrica counts visits and the events “game page opened” and “Play pressed” so we know which games people like. Click maps and session recording are off. The data is processed by Yandex LLC (Russia) under its own terms.

Feedback

The feedback form accepts your text, the page you are writing from and — if you want an answer — your e-mail. Your IP address is only used to limit how often messages can be sent and is not stored with the feedback.

Server logs and security

Web server logs are kept without IP addresses or query strings. Database backups are encrypted. Only the controller’s staff can use the admin area, and every action there is logged.

Retention

Game session data is needed while the session is open; closed sessions are kept for statistics without contact details. Account data is kept while the account exists. Feedback is kept as long as it helps us improve the service.

Your rights

You can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, withdraw consent to analytics, and complain to a data protection authority. Write to the controller; we answer within 30 days.

Children

HOHMA is made for groups of friends and families. Accounts are for people aged 16 and over; younger players play without an account together with adults.
