About the game
A 3×3 board, take turns: the first to get three of their marks in a row — across, down or diagonally — wins the game. A match goes to two wins, a draw is replayed, and the first move alternates. Two players can share one phone and pass it on. With more players it's a knockout tournament.
How to play
Three in a row
A 3×3 board, take turns. The first to get three marks in a row — across, down or diagonally — wins the game. Moves are timed: run out of time and a random move is made for you.
Knockout tournament
Players are paired at random; with an odd number, someone plays a bot. The winner of each match goes through until only one is left. All pairs of a round play at the same time.
First to two wins
A match goes to two wins; a draw is replayed. Crosses alternate: you move first in one game, your opponent in the next. Two of you on one phone? Just pass it back and forth.
The podium
The finalists play for 1st and 2nd place, and the semi-final losers play for 3rd at the same time. Knocked out? Follow the bracket on your phone.
